Default new headers wont sea!

I just bought some mac 1 3/4" shorty headers, and now i cant get them to seal. I have taken them off and reinstalled them twice, and now it only leaks out of the number 4, of course that is the tightest place to be because of all the emissons and crap. So if anyone has any ideas on how to get this one to seal, please let me know.

I think everyone has trouble with leaking. Buy Mac copper gaskets.

Unbolt them from the pipes, tighten the bolts to the heads, re-tighten to the pipes evenly, drive it for about 20-30 minutes and while its still warm tighten them again. Then when its cold tighten yet again... this process worked for me with the same headers

I just got a set of MAC headers and had the same problem. turns out it was bad welds from the factory that was leaking. Called MAC new ones on the way. I Put this compond made for heat over the holes to seal till the new ones get here. Worked great
