Dad wants my Mustang

Dad wants my Mustang
So my dad is wanting to give me $1,300 and his supercharged Thunderbird for my Stang. Sounds tempting but I think I'd cry if I ever got rid of it....wow that sounds so pathetic.

RE: Dad wants my Mustang
Alternate proposition: Tell dad to sell the Thunderchicken, you'll help him find a clean 5.0, & together you'll both make it one nice if not quick ride?
P.S. Being older & wise now, I'd kill to do something with my Dad..... Kinda sad; but true......IMHO

im with pro50 on this one....first of all they arnt the most attractive cars IMO. But when someone ask's what kind of car you drive...Would u rather say "an ol' thunderbird"..or "a baddass 5 liter Mustang"

RE: Dad wants my Mustang
I have to admit that his Thunderbird is nice, the only thing he has done to it is a pulley swap on the supercharger. Its a nice sleeper, I know it would surprise some people that didn't know what a Thunderbird SC was. The only reason I would consider it is because it would pay off my loan I owe at the bank and I'd still have a nice car. But, like I said before, I just can't part with my Mustang.

RE: Dad wants my Mustang
I dont want to get flamed or anything, but I raced a guy that had one, I am not sure of the year, but it was around early 90's, I had a Ford Probe, I know.............but anyway, I could beat him by a car length with the v-6 probe every time. He may not have been a good driver, I dont know, but all I had was a n/a v-6 with a manual tranny. Sorry to those that have them, but I was not impressed. Keep the Stang!
