Default Fuel Requirements

How much hp can a stock fuel pump handle?

Other than 24lb injectors, what other fuel system requirements are needed to sustain 400rwhp?

Default RE: Fuel Requirements

would be a good idea to upgrade your fuel lines from the tank too.

Default RE: Fuel Requirements

Stock fuel pump story - My friend ran in the mid-11s last month but it kept popping bad in higher rpms and wouldn't rev. He remembered he had sold all his good fuel system parts when he had switched to carb. He had just converted back over to EFI for a T70 setup and used a tank and pump from a parts car. It had the stock pump. He put in a 255lph and ran a 10.61 @ 127 last Friday night. As far fetched as that may sound, you have to know the guy. He IS that dumb.

What makes you think 24lb injectors will support 400rwhp? I'd go with a 255lph pump and 36lb injectors for 400+rwhp.
