Whats over your head?
I LIKE TO HAVE SOMETHING SOLID OVER MY HEAD. JUST THE THOUGHT OF GLASS OVER ME GIVES ME SHIVERS. CONVERTABLES ARE COOL LOOKING AND FUN TO DRIVE, BUT WHEN YOU SMACK THE WALL AT 100+ MPH I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A LITTLE MORE PROTECTION. Ok enough of the all-caps.
In my Subaru, I've got a sunroof (metal, as opposed to a moonroof which is glass)
In the Mustang, a layer of vinyl or whatever it is.
In the Dodge, nothing but steel.
I'm not planning on hitting any walls at 100 without a helmet, cage, and harnesses on.
Ok enough of the all-caps.

Nothing like the rag top! Just hope you don't smack the wall at 100 mph! I drive a motorcycle, so that's more fearful than the little convertible hitting a wall! <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>

I have a V6 convertible and '90 LX hardtop.....and as long as I dont flip over on the convertible or hit a semi at 160 on the hardtop...I should be ok..... </P>
I hate to admit it but that convertible is alot of fun...even if it is a V6...<IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"></P>

I had a friend that was killed in a convertable. he was ejected through the roof. Yes i know if he had his seat belt on he would not have been ejected. The top of the car didnt make it through the wreck either. I just believe in hardtops<FONT size=3>.I THIS BETTER HORATIO?</FONT></P>
