Default pushrod length

I'm ordering a set of AFR 165cc heads and some FR 1.7 roller rockers and need to know what length pushrods I should get. I'll be using the stock cam, so would I be able to use ones that have the stock length? Thanks in advance.

I would go for an aftermarket cam since your in there anyways ...from what I heard of some other guys going with AFR's and stock cam they didn't have great HP and TQ #'s and they are wishing they went with one when they did head swap.

Just my opinion...as for what size i'm not sure, sorry.

Default RE: pushrod length

I used stock length pushrods on my 347 and AFR 185s. AFR recommends either that or .100" longer pushrods. I also used stud mounted rockers so you can adjust the lash. If you stick with pedestal mount you have to shim the rockers.
