I don't know how it is in other states but in IN. you can have up to 2 for sure but I think it's 3 mistakes in the VIN no. to be able to get plates and for the insurance co. info .so find out what number is used for the 6 cyclender in the vin and by mistake give them the 6 cyclender vin number to them and if anything happens you will only be off by 1 number and it's no big deal.I have had this same mistake happen to me several times with no troubles.I didn't come by the name of slick for nothing...slick
