Looks like they have 400+ HP stroker starting at $3,700. Might as well spend the extra $200ish dollars for an extra 55+ HP

Id say go with #1 but your gona spend around 1500 for a good h/C/I kit.^^ if you go with a 400+hp motor you'll haveto spend 2k on a tranny to handle the power and doesnt sound like that's in you budget.

I say #1, and if you have the money I'd build it with forged internals.

If you want to get another engine I'd build a 351 for it, dont waste ur time with the GT40 engine

you could look at a remaned motor.. thats what i went with.. and determining how much you have you can upgrade certain parts of it..

Get a 347 stroker kit from Coast High Performance......$749.99

Get the machine work and install the kit on your block......

Throw on a pair of AFR 185 Heads......$1400 + or - 100 depending on where you get it.....

And you will be very happy with that setup........
