Why isn't setting timing with a gun timing a motor? I mean, if the cam is clocked correctly, how else would you time a motor?

no i said setting timing with a gun at idle in a carb motor isnt timing it allway..you need to do totle timg too...set initial at 8-10 and totle at 34 and go from there
