Default finally on the road again.

after blowing my tranny a couple months ago, finally got it back on the road again. new astro performance super alloy t-5, zoom stage 2 kevlar clutch kit, and a new ford racing al. driveshaft. everything seems really tight, hope it loosen up a bit. i guess my question is , is there a break-in period or milage, before i can really get into it. i really want to do a hard launch, but not sure how long i need to wait, any one have a suggestion. thanks.

first off welcome back to the road!

I always hear about 500 miles for these types of things but not too sure. I would wait a little bit just to be on the safe side tho.

you should break in your new clutch for about 500-600 miles. the clutch should have directions in the box for a break in period.

it is always said that the clutch break in is 500 miles... but every clutch I've put in was broke in at WOT
