talk me into a 5.0
ok, im in the market for a new(used) car. most likly its going to be a foxbody 5.0. i do know a good bit about them and like them alot. there are also a few in my area that im going to look at here soon. so out of all of you 5.0 owners, lets hear all the good things you have to say about your cars that makes them unique or better then another model. now i know that these arent the absolute best cars you can buy, im not stupid, but im just looking to see all of your opinions on these cars and would like to hear all the good things you can have to say about them. hope this makes sense, n thanks

RE: talk me into a 5.0
I have owned 3. An 88,91, and now my 87, and well, as much as all my ricer buds like to knock me, its my all time favorite car. It has ***** and alot of potential, parts are pretty much a dime a dozen compared to the 4.6 but the 5.0 is little less efficient. As for the car itself, it takes as much of a beating as your willing to give, granted you upkeep it and arent red-lining it every stop and go. It takes a little getting used to how the car handles under turns and under the throttle. My suggestion : Go to an empty parking lot if/when you buy it and toy around with it a bit before you hit the streets. All in all you will get alot of nods/laughs/respect. Got Torque?

+1, i own 2 mustangs, an 88 GT(AOD) and an 89 LX(5 speed). I've always wanted a mustang since i was a kid my aunt owned an 87-93 mustang gt 2 tone convert. was blue n grey or silver w/e u wanna call it, and when i was a kid it was one of the fastest cars around. i loved it and since i was like 10-11 i had it set in my heart i was going to get one and i did, i get compliments all the time on how my 2 look, run & sound. where are you located? i may have a mustang just for u.
