Replace your hood with a fiberglass one, get some Weld Draglites, Tubular K member, delete the A/C and Smog systems, then take the vib damper off the rear end (thats 10lbs alone), get rid of all the insulation in the doors, under the dash, under the carpet, inside the rear panels, and like 89Ford said, get all the tar off the floor pan, thats a biggie, then replace the boat anchor seats with some Summit Racing seats. You can get a fiberglass deck lid, and front fender. Drop the front sway bar, drop the Front bumper re-enforcement..if your brave take the rear one out Take the Cruise control out, drop the inner fenders, take all the Air condition/heater duct work and box from under the dash...lol....it all depends on how far you want to go and how much weight your wanting to drop. Ive gutted the **** out of my car, its lightweight, but its noisy, hot in the summer, cold in the winter, alot of road noise comes in now. Its no problem for me cause i dont drive the car much, but hell if i thought i'd win id take the seats out and ride on buckets.
