i noticed today that i have extra wiring in my headlight wiring harness. i have a 90 lx. i assume that they are for fog lights, and the coolant low light sensor. no i dont have pics, and i dont have a digital camera either, sorry. i figured that all mustangs that year had the same wiring harness to save money on production instead of making two seperate harnesses. so i want to know if this is correct and if the extra wires would be hooked up in the dash. can i put on fog lights and a switch and use the existing wires and the same with the coolant switch?

I dont know why you couldnt, do you have the plug in the dash by the headlight switch? If the harness is all there, check voltage at the plugs.
