what would cause my car to miss

RE: what would cause my car to miss
There's a certain point where the computer switches over from a choke to regular mode. Just let your car warm up or keep your foot out of the gas until it does. Then when it gets to that point then you're good to go. I think the "certain point" is the temp, so watch your temp gauge and when its warmed up it'll drive fine.

when your car isnt "warmed" up it runs in open loop..after it hits a certain temp it goes into closed loop...while in open loop it ingores reading from your temperature sensitive sensors and runs at a preset mode u might say..get it checked for trouble codes

Does it fire right up or crank a bit. Notice any black smoke out the tail pipe when this is happening. How long does it do this for?
