i have a gixxer my self and love it a 01 gixxer 600 was my frist street bike but i have been riding dirt sense i was 5 and trust me it makes a big diffrence just from that also allways wear your gear i don't care if your just putting through town wear a brain bucket and leathers trust me you never want road rash if you want to get an idea put shorts on go out in the road get down on your knees and try moving some on them now imdange skidindown the road at 70mph. even with full leathers on you'll get some rash and bumps and burise but it will make a world of diffrence. i do track days at mid ohio and i have lost it on the street. it's nonthing close the dirt dirt gives pavemnt dosen't and it ****s you up and watch out for those cars most people don't see ya i have almost so many times it's not even funny.

haha one of my friends got a 650 ninja and he was showin off and he hit some oil on the road and his bike tipped over on him ....he broke his wrist...it was soo funny.....lol...he ended up selllin his bike and buyin an eclipse...[:'(]

"you're gonna shoot your eye out" have fun, be safe, and wear a fuggin helmet. i had a fzr600 for a summer with 8 friends to ride with and it was absolutely great but there's just too many idiots on the road. plus too many temptations to do "dumb" but fun things on a crotch rocket...so i sold it and bought a atv (which was what i sold to get the bike[&:][&:]). i will get a harley in a few years though

I don't think skipping the insurance will save you in the long run. When I had my wreck I had no ins and had $15 in medical bills real fast..... And also remember there are 2 types of riders, those who have wrecked and those who are gonna wreck. Which one are you>

Nice bike! I like the R6 more, but the CBR is no slouch, either.

Well, if you want people to hear you slap on a D&D (or DnD... forget which one it is) exhaust.... OMG THAT EXHAUST IS EAR PIERCING!! Way too loud IMO though, they are simply ridiculous>!

yes d&d are insane loud i have the carbonfiber one with a yosiheader and midpipe i wear earplugs and i still get headaces with that damn thing
