i pulled an ut-oh this morning
rushing for work i was topping off the oil when i tried to start it without the filler cap on. car started, then stalled and im like wtf so i give it gas and it still dies.
i pop the hood.. there it is sittin on the intake... DOH
now to my point.. was there any damage done since i assume it has no pressure? didnt make any funny noises but it did stall out kind of violently if u wanna say that.
and for the record yes i know it was stupid

No damage whatsoever. If the car stalled (which I'm surprise that it did), it's only because you created a giant vacuum leak at the throttle body by not having the cap on. Don't worry about it.
