Default Trouble

I'm havin some trouble with my car. It was runnin good since i had it up until about a week ago when it flooded really bad. I rebuilt the carb the other day, changed spark plugs and put a new coil in, and when i tried to start it last night, its gushing gas out of the power valve blowout ( i guess thats what it is). I'm maybe thinking the fuel pump is pump too much gas (its an electric mallory 140) but i dunno. When it was running fine, my fuel pressure read in between 7 and 8. Now its kinda out of wack reading at like 1 psi, which that can't be right becuz obviously the gas is getting through and coming out of that blowout tube like a small geyser. Maybe my FPR is messed up or sumthin. I dunno but my carb is getting continuosly flooded and i can't get the car cranked becuz of that. Have any of u carb guys had any trouble like this? any advice would be great. Thanks.

Default RE: Trouble

you rebuilt your own carb you said, JK. pull the fuel line off and turn the pump on and set the presssure by sight but try not to waste any of the liquid gold.
