Default Clutch Quadrant Help!!

Hey guys, im havin a little problem w/ my clutch quadrant, and firewall adjuster install. Is there supposed to be spacers between the two posts where it attaches to the pedal assembly?? it seems like there needs to be like a 1/2 spacer inbetween the two, so ther isnt any play in it. I have a UPR quadrant and firewall adjuster. Thanks in advance!

is this a new cable? on my quad there aren't any spacers on it just the cotter pins holding it on and they seem to be alittle bit away from the actual quad, I was thinking just like you are but found that my cable had cut into the sheath and made it look as though the quad was off so i replaced the cable and everything was cake from then on

i just made a little spacer. I know exactly wha tyou're talking about. I realized that it needed it after I had already put it on...and i wasn't going to take it off again, so I used some garden hose as a spacer, it actually worked perfectly. It probalby didn't really need one, but i wasn't going to tack the chance of the cable slipping off.

I JUST got done installing my Anderson quadrant, didnt have any spacers. The stock plastic one has like built in spacer. I just wrecked the house looking for washers and almost matched it perfectly to where the stock one sat. hopefully it will work out fine.
