RE: 2 or 3 digit codes?
Hey Stiffclutch, You can go to any auto zone and have them read it for you. With the Ford scanner you can check for code with the car off and with it running. there are two sets of codes key on engine off (koeo) and key on engine running (koer). the connection for the reader is on the driver side shock tower. When the engine is on and you put the tester on it will raise the rpms and you'll hear clicking and stuff, nothing to be worried about it's just checking the sensors and balance on the cyl.

Uh..... I work there now and I know that we do it and only because I talked the manager into buying one for the store. Your store my have not do it but there is only like 2 or 3 poeple in my store that know how to use it. I don't know if every store has one that they use but all the store here in VA BCH have them.

all 94-95 mustangs have an OBDII plug. but they don't work anywhere near what a 96+ mustangs OBDII work. You can not control the CPU like you can in a 96 mustang. In order to get a acurate code reading you have to run your OBDI set up.

I just did a 94 stang last weekend and she had the regular ODB I connection on it. I could be wrong but all the ones that I have looked at only had the ODB I on them. send me a picture of a 94-95 with the ODB II connection on it.
