Adder- I never said anything about poor quality from that link. I was simply wondering why, even though it was remanufactured, it is so much cheaper than the NEW ONE that summit offers...

Especially since, just like you mentioned, it would cost you WELL over $1k to even get to that point if you started from a junkyard motor.

Calm down, I'm not attacking you or anything.

the motor on summit is directly from Ford Motorsports... Its a Sportsman II block along with forged stell rods and forged pistons..... now do you see where the money goes?

Makes sense. Thanks for the info. I'm amazed to see that a 351 SB is so cheap.
