Default hot start problem fixed, now a new issue!!!!

it was a bad computer, installed a reman. now when car is cold it intermittenly runs rough, misses, pops, and stalls, also ck. engine light flickers. seems to load up with fuel too. after holding throttle till engine light stays on bright to keep running the engine clears out . seems as if computer wireing or power short when cold. once warmed up it runs normal. getting fed up !!! seriously considering converting to carburator!!!!!the car is a 92 5.0 with edelbrock performer heads, compcams 512 lift ,1.6 roller rockers,24lbs injectors,75 mm maf meter, cold air intake, mac headers and adjustable fuel regulator............

somethings messes up with the intial startup loop, the car has an open and closed loop system for FI, when you start hte car and the engine is not warm yet it runs on predetermined settings, and then when its warm the t stat will open and the o2 sensors, MAF, etc. will determine a/f ratio and adjust accordingly, have you checked the IAC, checked TPS voltage, MAF sensor, base idle etc. Check out this link:

Try going there dude. That helped me out more than once.

That .512 cam isnt going to run really nice and smooth. Alot of the popping or what not can be attributed to the idle on the cam.

What year is your car? Cause if its a 94-95 its not going to want to run right because those years, the computer dont like mods.
