AUTOZONE DOESN'T TEST OBDI

ORIGINAL: aode06

if your car just started this problem , you have a bad sensnor , read the code, do it yourself, or go to autozone etc to have read for free, dont mess with the timing or anything else. you can find code readers on ebay

Thank you for all help so far guys!!

Now for part two...

I manage to run the EEC self test and a got a few codes out.
With enginge off i got 118, 181 & 189, and with enginge on i got 116, the cylinder balance test shows no proplems.
The 118 & 116 should be the ECT sensor so that is no problem but 181 & 189 tells me that it's running lean on both sides.

could it be the fuel filter? or what do you experts think??

change out your ECT sensor and your O2 sensors...

but heres a question.... how many miles are on your car, and are you still running the stock exhaust.

my car lacked power above 3k and it was because my factory cats were clogged

I will change the ECT and fuel filter today, maybe i should change the O2 sensors as well...
The car has runned aprox. 225000 miles but i have emptied the cats this weekend so that is not the broblem.

Thanks for the help.
