burning oil after sitting

RE: burning oil after sitting
one thing that happens to any engine when it sits for a long period of time is a little rust can form on the rings and cylinder walls, very minimal. and the rings seem to loose some of ther tension when they sit. I would maybe try a compression test before tearing into anything if you have acess to the tools.

Did you give it an oil change also, I hope. Dump a bottle of sea foam into your crankcase, let it run for like 20-25 minutes and then change the oil. Use valvoline maxlife 10-30 non syn.

RE: burning oil after sitting
yea i realized that was a stupid question after i asked it.. im also having a few other problems. a buddy of mine took it out for a drive and said the rear end bounces around and im not sure what it could be, i havent had a chance to look yet and im kind of afraid to because the car once had hydraulics on it and i think they might have caused some damage.. ill look and let everyone know, wish me luck.
