Default i need to make my exhaust louder
just recently got my 87 5-0, it came with bbk headers and x pipe and flowmaster (american thunder) mufflers i think. Its got a nice sound but i want it to be louder. I dont have alot to spend either so i am just looking to get new mufflers for now. any suggestions?

Just cut the cat back off and run turndowns off your muff's. That'll make it sound really good dude. Trust me

if you want loud, cut off the tailpipes right after the mufflers.

Get an H-pipe with no cats...then when you need to smog put the cats back on

If you want loud just run long tube headers with some extensions. I garentee you'll have the loudest car on the road. Just watch out for cops.
