i am putting my rebuilt motor in and the heads where put on backwords not that it matters but the spacers or the inserts for the smog and ac brackets that changes the thread size from a 5/8 to a 7/16 are in the back where the smog pipe goes and i got one out and put it into the front but i cant get it out!! is there a like a reverse threat bolt or something? i have been to every part store and hardware store in town! the one was loose and i got lucky anyone else have this problem? or is there something to get this out???

Go to Ford and get some new ones They are cheap, someone will chimein with part numbers I am not sure of what they are...........trick flow sells some as well .

i was gonig to get some but the ones in the back need to come out for the smog ya i know i dont the smog but i am already running into all gobs of trouble and just want it back to normal

just move the heads around, only cost you some head gaskets.

move the passenger side one to driver side and vice versa, that will swap the holes
around correctly.

lol thought of that after i put the one i got out on the other SIDE and now it wont come out either

if u dont care about ur bolts...then get some of those special drill bits that are made to get bolts out....u will have to buy a new bolt though.....or get a bigger socket wrench....that will giv more leverage.....thats what i had to do to get my headers off the other day...
