Default moving the timing with out the removing the spout connecter??

ok I have all ways wondered what would happen or what can happen if you mess with the timing with out the removing the spout connecter.

dose any one have any idea???

yep... it does absolutly nothing... you need to remove the spout connector if you plan on getting anywhere

I can testify to that, LoL. My dumbass did this very thing about a month ago. wasn't paying attention and forgot to remove it... took me awhile to figure out WTF was wrong and why the numbers were all over the place. Thought maybe the timing light was screwed up, LoL.

It will still change timing but you won't know what the hell you changed base timing too. Just pull out the spout and redo it and there won't be any problems.

Up to a certain point, it will compensate for your changes. And you won't have a damned clue what the base actually is because you're looking at numbers in the 20s and 30s that actually fluctuate!

Ive tried without pulling the spout. It will do something to it, but it's not cool. I had my timing all out of whack!
