RE: which heads will make more power?
trick flow kit will be better, its designed to peak with its own components, upgrade valve springs and rocker arms while your in there as well. If you go with AFR's get a custom comp cam.

I agree^^^^. The AFR bandwagon folks will jump in here soon, so before they do: If you go w/ AFR, get the 58cc chambers b/c they have a better design and get the valve spring upgrade option b/c the stockers are CRAP. I know a couple of people that had valve float problems w/ the springs.

Go with the TFS combo. Ive ALWAYS have had AWESOME results with anything that has TFS heads. Ive built or help build about 8 stangs, most had TFS heads some had edelbrocks. Had better results with TFS.

WHICH in fact i was one of them....they are both awsome heads...tricks 180 design would be better since you'd be one step up without having to notch pistons unlike afr 185's design plus tricks have better springs.......see i'm an owner, and i didn't jump the bandwagon.....i speak the truth, and besides afr isn't cutting me a check for advertisment

afrs are good, edeelbrock rpms are good they make barely less avg air flow then afr and are a lil cheaper...go for avg not peak air flow...i had a cam and afr 165s and put rpms on it and gained 6 hp...so all in what cam and combo..to say any1 head is better then the other is redundant...but afrs are good....i ported my rpms and flow#s aound 185s and are more freindly to street...imo
