Which is better 347 or 351

Which is better 347 or 351
I just a 351 engine complete for free that I was thinking of building up. I was just wondering why most everybody goes with a stroker 347 instead of a 351? Reasons why please...thanks

347 is a powerhouse down low as well as awsome midrange...blows a 351w away....pound for pound...howevewr a 408 from a 351 is a monster aswell and will make ya grab ya gf *** from power ...loli had a 408 and was amazing...how ever a 347 is a beast too...i know of a cpl guys did close to same setup..a 351w with a edelbrock rpm setup..one was a 347 and one was a 351....off line im my opinion theres no sub for a stroker and mid range power..

everyone does 347's as they aready have a 302 block. a 351 is superior in almost every way except for the 35 pound weight penility. better rod/stroke ratio, better torque production, stronger block, no premature ring wear, etc.

351 is cheaper and stronger than 347.
everyone does 347, cause they can re-use more parts in the swap.
needed stuff for 351W install
Hood
Intake ( lower intake is wider )
flywheel
balancer
distributor
headers
brackets for accessories
I'm struggling with this myself, but leaning towards the 351W
a good "stock" 351W bottom end with forged pistons is pretty damn strong
and reliable and less than half what you pay for a souped up 347 short block.
everyone does 347, cause they can re-use more parts in the swap.

Just made a deal with a fellow ford guy for a swap...my old EFI stuff ofr his 351.
I know the weight difference...but I don't see how a 347 will make more torque than a 351...explain please.
