i want to make this carburated are there any issues with gt 40 heads and a carburator?

Nope. Carb'd is a good route for more power. Your going to make much more power with a carb.

hey check out the newest issue of modified mustangs...a lightly modded 86(mass air) had 198rwhp/278rwtq. a 1991 gt with
long tubes only made 202/261 so the crappy e6's actually make more torque than the e7's..heck for that matter
they tested a 1993 cobra and it only mad 229/272 so the 86's do pretty good..
