Default Can I supercharge it?

not many mods on it now, 3;73, dual flows, moroso intake, 160 thermo, plug wires, 92000 miles runs strong no leaks aod trans, so will it hold boost? or will it just blow after some time? and what kit is best?

You'll hold 6-8lbs. Kenny Belle is the best imo, but they know how to charge...both ways.

it'll hold boost. if i was you one thing you should change is your t-stat from 160 stock is 190 i beleive id go with 180, nothing lower then that.

you can easily run 10psi but youll need a better fuel pump in the tank and larger injectors. dont rely on those damn FMUs the sc kits come with. with the larger injectors, youll need a maf calibrated for teh injectors you choose

and get rid of that 160* stat. it wont allow your motor to get into a closed loop. if your car is over heating its not cause of your stat, its either a dying water pump or a dirty radiator....or blown head gasket but you said it runs strong

yea change the T stat to a 180. I take my 180 out in the summer months because its so hot and especially humid here, its heats up normally without it. IN the winter i need it to get my engine warmed up qucikly though.


Put the 180 back in there, if your car is overheating, go with a Fluidynn, Griffin or Be cool radiators. That will make it run super cool.
