Default shorty headers (brands)

ok, so im lookin for some shortys on ebay and bbk and mac both seem to be good qaulity headers but there are also a few others that im not real familiar with. the first being flowtech and then hedmen. all 4 basically look the same. does one flow better then the other, or will they sound different from one brand to the other or are they all about the same?

Hedmen make decent headers. But id go with the BBK or Mac headers. Flowtechs are kinda cheap quality. A buddy bought some for his Dodge truck and they wouldnt clear the starter for anything. Thats what you get for buying $190.00 headers.

Rule of thumb...do not ever buy cheap headers, they fit like crap.

BBK makes good products. I have BBK equal length shorties and no problems at all - they fit well on installation

I went on the cheap side when I bought my shorty headers. I bought a pair a summit headers from summit. They were $99 and fit great. I'm sure they're not the greatest out there, but they are a lot better than stock and I had no problems installing them in an SN95 (which says a lot considering how cramped it is in there)

I have the bbk equal length shortys, I had to raise one side of the engine up when installing them, but everything lined up good, so no complaints.

is there really a big difference between equal length and unequal length? I would assume its hard to change plugs with equal length? are they worth the money? dont mean to hi jack.
