Default MAF cause this prob??

Hello everyone!!

I would like to know if the MAF being bad would it cause 4 cylinders not to fire correctly?Im getting code 159 from my NGS computer. And cylinders(at top of header) 3457 are reading low on temp aroung 230 or so when the other are at 460. It dies when I put it in gear. All injectors fire and we have spark to all cylinders. We have changed the injectors around to see if that would make a change and it hasnt. So please if anyone can tell if the MAF being bad could cause this!! Thanks!!! just incase this helps fresh 308 block gt40p heads and Cobra intake!!

not for nothing but i saw a problem similiar on and older 5.0 that some one put in and the cam was diffrent and the firing order changed and on that engine cyl 3,4,5 were dead had fuel and spark but were dead maybe this might help and maybe not but i figured i would send out this info it was on a 87 car with no mass flow and no codes set but maybe it might help you

Thanks I think that is the problem is the cam that was used!! I bought the block put together and dont know if they used the right cam or not but the firing order is what gives it away I think!instead of the 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
here is what the other is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

we are getting 1-2-6-8 firing and if you look at the firing order those are the ones that match!! So I believe you are right!! thanks mustang8719 and thanks mdvaldosta!!
