If you have an Auto Zone near you they will pull your codes for you and being that you failed for the light being on they might check to make sure you didnt pull the bulb by cycling the key and watching for it to light considering its cali. and they are strict

yeah..I am near an Autozone and after this post I am going over there to see what they can do..It's funny because the first time I took the pre-test, I passed the "visual" part and not the "NO" part and the "check engine light was on" during the first test. He told me after the first test..$80.00 +parts..I was like f**k that and went and bought 2 new O2 sensors plus installed them and the second pretest passed everything except this time he failed me for the "check engine light" He cycled the key by turing off the car and then restarting it up. What a c**ks***er...he could of over looked it. He was just mad because I did not let him cheat me on the "$80.00 +parts deal he gave me the first time around. My tags are due at the end of July so I have to get this over with soon.
