Default Exhaust questions

I have a 94 5.0 and i need a new exhaust. it currently has custom made side exhaust but its wayyy too low and scrapes sometimes and i couldn't lift the car because it was in the way. So with that i want to get a new cat-back system perferbaly flowmaster. Where can i go to find the cheapest prices and any suggestions?

Do you have LT's? whoever made your catback is a retart because no way should your catback be scrapping on the pavement. Dont get a new one, just take it somewhere and have it raised.

i agree have the current one adjusted for the proper fit or else do a web search for flowmaster or get a 5.0 and fast fords mag and look in the ads, flows are available everywhere, its shipping that you have to watch for.

SLP is great but if you want to spend alittle less then how about a flowmaster aftercat, cost you just over $300. If you can afford the SLP kit then get it, not many 5.0's have that set up and they sounds awesome.

or do like me, go with dumps you save like $250-300 bucks by going with dumps + they're meaner and more aggresive.

+1 I dont think there are any 5.0's around me that have SLP's on them. They sound great and the quality is AWSOME. 10X's better than any flowmaster....

yea i just want exhaust straight out the back now. Its real low cuz i hit a racoon like a week ago and my car was lowered so blew up the poor animal. think it knocked the pipes off the hanger. But i don't have any mufflers or anything its just cats and pipes out either side. It is wayyy too loud too so thats why i've been leaning towards the flowmaster 40 series

The SLP 1's dont have mufflers they have resonators which are basically straight pipes and the SLP 2 has a muffler.
