Just ordered and put down deposit on my 357W short block
$2,200
.03 over bore, Forged 13cc dished pistons, ARP bolts, flywheel
Ford "B" cam, timing chain, balancer, oil pump
should be running about 9.7 : 1 c/r
should be ready for pick-up end of next week

those afr 165 will make you happy on that motor with that cam, low compression>? plan on blowing, running low octane, high timing or what?
Id make sure piston to valve clearance is ok and depending how much room is left , put some THIN headsgaskets and mill the heads .10

yes, just did head/intake swap ........ most everything is going onto new engine
only need new intake and wasnt happy with BBK anyway.
9.7 is low? not high but not low either, nice middle of the road compression
should work good with "B" cam and 1.72 rockers, gonna give me about .514 lift
and good duration.
Thinner .038 head gasket will get me up to 9.86 c/r............ might do that
