Convert a 2.3L, to a 5.0L V8?

Convert a 2.3L, to a 5.0L V8?
I have a 1993 Mustang LX Hatchback, with the 4 Cylinder engine, automatic. I'm wondering how much money am I looking at to drop a 5.0L V8 in it? Is the engine the only nessasary change? (I'm new to cars, this is my first one)

What you need to do is get a wrecked 93 with the 5.0. Take the engine,transmission,rearend,driveshaft,wiring harnesses,computer,front end, fuel lines, speedometer cable, brake lines(or you can modify it to fit). im in the middle of doing the conversion now. if you have anymore qusetions ask.

Theres quite a few things wrong with this car especially on the outside, do you think I should just go out and buy a 5.0L Mustang and let my mom keep this one instead of spending a 2-3,000 restoring this one and converting it to a 5.0L?
