ok i am having a few problems, my car is running rich. its blowing black smoke out of the exhaust when i rev it and it will leave nice big black marks on the ground where ever the car was when i reved it. there is a little relay looking thing under the intake tube just hanging there with a few wires not attached and im not sure what it is. somone said it might have something to do with the car running rich . but i wanted to know if there was any way i can lean out the mixutre. the car seems to be running a little rough and im not sure why, i got new plugs and wires and the cap and rotor are new. the only thing i am missing is an oil change and i doubt that will make the wierd idle go away. it sounds like its got a cam or something. ill take a picture of the relay looking this in a few and see if anyone knows what it is or what it does.

mabe your fuel pressure regulator needs to be replaced, get an adjustable one and a schrader valve fp gauge so you can adjust it! just my 2 cents
