Hell yeah, I have my energy trans mount that we installed when I installed the new trans, I have new motor mounts too but i'm not really looking forward to installing them, although I know if your mounts are real worn out it reduces the efficiency of your engine to put the power to the ground, or at least thats what i'm told...

Not hard at all............about an hour....depending on how much beer you drink......

In the cases I have seen only the driver side motor mounts break. I changed mine with 4 jack stands and a jack.....

1. Grab beer and various tools........

2. Put car on all jack stands.......open beer.........

3. Loosen driver side motor mount (the huge nut)...no disrepect to your knowledge of cars......everyone is on a different level when it comes to working on them.

4. Loosen the the two bolts that attach the mount to the block......

5. Place jack under oil pan raise motor a couple of inches to remove mount.

6. Open beer # 2.

7. Place new motor mount in location.......bolt to block

8. Lower engine and tighten big nut........

9. Open beer #3

10. Do the same thing to the other mount........after that you should be through about 5-6 beers....and the job is done.......

11. Dont drive for awhile.......

If you replace the motor mounts get Energy Motor Mounts and Trans Mount......They run like 159.00 for the set, they are worth it trust me.......replace both motor mounts and do the trans mount too.....

Hope this helps......and your car is clean dude......wish my vert was so shinny.........
Well I just got done installing the motor mount, everything went very smoothley and it fixed the problem with the headers.

However I would suggest that if anyone else follows these directions, find a differn't place other than the oil pan to jack up the motor, It dented my oil pan, luckily it didn't cause any damage/ leaking, but it came very close.

But other then that, very good directions, thanks!

I didn't have one, but I used the lid for a small cooler, and it still dented it.

I just want to warn, so that if someone ever does a search for this topic they wont make a bad mistake.

yea i had to use a 2x4 when i pushed my motor uyp a bit to get my headers in. Always a good idea to put some wood in between a jack and the oil pan.
