Looking at Spark Advance per RPM
A9P
RPM_______0___1600___2250___2600___3500___5000___1 6384
Advance___18___18_____22______23____22_____26_____ _26

A9L
RPM______0___1000___1800___2150___2600___3500___50 00___16384
Advance__8____8______18.5____21.5___22.5____22____ 26______26

Peak Total is the same but the A9P has more timing lower in the RPM's

Just in case someone else thinks this is as interesting as I do...

X3Z
RPM______0___1000___1800___2150___2600___3500___50 00___16384
Advance__8____8_____18.5____21.5___22.5____22_____ 25______25

This shows how the 93 Cobra was actually a weaker tune than the A9L.

Keep in mind this is only one of many timing tables in the EEC-IV. There are compensations for ECT, ACT, even TPS and tps rate of change.

By the way ANYONE can download the tweecer software - CalEdit and Calcon.

You then use CalEdit to load the Ford Factory tune files (always in .bin format)

CalEdit is where I just looked up the above info.

Tweecer software is free, its the hardware that you have to pay for.

I dont have any number with the tweecer yet either. I just runs and idles a lot smoother. for having solid motor mounts my car has minimal vibration inside at idle, when it used to be horrible.
