Default rocker help

How would a 1.7 rocker work with a custom cam and a 331 stroker s/c and gt40p heads. Should i go 1.6?

It'll give you a little more lift. Just make certain to check piston to valve clearance...Clarence.

1.7s they open with valve quicker and more lift appx .030 more and closes the valve qiucker too.you shouldn't have a problem with retainer clearance if you don't have 1.550 springs . i got 1.7s with .701 lift. you got to watch for retainer clearance between the rocker arm. 1.550 springs with the retainers with .050 +installed height might be a problem.
