so the key thing is just dont run alot of rpm threw it then, and then i shouldnt have to worry about spliting the block
for the most part yes. dont expect 800hp if you keep the rpms low but low rpms will allow the block to handle much more power then if your shifting over 6000rpms

So don't shift it above 6k and you will be fine........

just one more question, when everyone says there power, are they sayin it to the wheels, like a block can 500 hp is to the wheels, because if i buy a block it will be a sportsmen block what kind of power will block make before i really have to worry

well with my 347 it was 400 to the tire n/a, but i kinda wanna buy a blower then i would run a 331 and i guess 8-9 psi, i dont exactly what i would make with that prolly close 475 at the tire but i dont know for sure

You will be fine with a sportmans block....just dont shift in the upper atmosphere. Lucky13 is making 461 rwhp on a complete stock bottom end......
