I like the look, the black ones may look better on your car. I had to use them because my new hood would not work with the stock latch, and I didnt want to have to slam the fiberglass hood and possibly damage it.

I dont like them myself. I think they look good on some OLDer cars, but not really ours. But if your hood is coming unlatched I would probably get them, or at least figure out whats up with your latch.
My stock latch works perfect with my fiberglass hood, I never slam it, i just let the safety latch hook then drop it the last 3 inches and its secure.
Your choice man, Id probably go black, just cause you never see that. Or at least i never have.

I have them on my 69. But I've been thinking about installing them on my SN just because I have a CF hood, and I've heard stories of them flying up on the freeway.

They look good.

I prefer the silver better than black...even on a black car.

dont particularly like the look of them, but they perform a function. i ended chosing the ones that are flush , no pin sticking up, and have a special key to upen them. think the look better than the ones that stick up through the hood. to each his own. black ones on your car would look best.

Ill put the black ones on and see how it looks.

I cant use the latch because the fiber glass where the hood latches broke off and it wont stay shut.

I was never a fan of hood pins, but this is out of nessity, I want the black ones so they are not visable.

My hoodpins grew on me, didn't likem at first but now i think they're sexy.
My hood shook like MAD on the highway and feared it would fly up on me at one point in time(fiberglass)
Still have the hood pop under the steering column, but got rid of the latch under the hood.
