Well, I finally have my 4.10s in and could not say enough about them! I left the guys house who installed them and immediatley knew I had made the right decision.

As soon as I got out on the road I jammed on it............1st to 2nd shift (shift kit installed) is usually pretty snappy. This time is was a little mushy?

Next few miles it dorve fine and then I had a red light..........took off slow and then jammed it again and this time I chirped 2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the third time I did it.........nothing.

the car bogged down for a second and then shift......almost like a rev limiter kicked in? I let the car sit and drove several hours later and it shifted OK but did not bog as bad.
The car is shifting at around 5400-5500 RPMs.................any ideas why its doing this? Trans was rebuilt a few months ago.............

I have 3.73's and my shift kit does the same kind of thing. I can chirp 2nd no problem on the street, but at the track it bogs down- I was told its because my tires are actually grabbing and not enough power to turn them which is causing the motor to bog a little.

Thats interesting......... The times it did not bog I was on a soft asphalt road. The other time it did not I was changing lanes so the cars weight was shifting. The times it did bog I was going in a straight line.................

Did you calibrate your speedo?

If so where did you get the correction gear?
Im getting 4.10's and need to calibrate the speedometer.
