removing k+n air filter?

RE: removing k+n air filter?
Sounds like you want to remove the air silencer. That big black warted thing inside your fender that your filter box connects too.
First remove your filter box and filter. It will make it easier if you remove your air tube too. Next there are three or four bolts that you remove from the inside of your engine bay. After that then you should be able to wiggle the air silencer around.
When you can do that then just look up behind your passanger side fog light (or in that area if you dont have one) and there is the box. Reach up in there and just start moving around while pulling out. It only can come out from that way.
There you have it.

I finally got the clamp off from the inside and removed the filter. I was taking the filter out to recharge(clean) it, its a K+N.

Keep trying. That's the only way you're gonna' do it. Why are you taking it off anyway?
