Default power steering question

about 2 weeks ago i filled my power steering because when i tured the steering wheel the car would make this noise...then after i filled up the power steering, the noise was still there when i would turn...is this normal or is there somethin wrong

All of the 5.0 mustangs seem to have this problem. Actually 3 of the 4 that I have owned have done that. You have 2 options...........get a new power steering pump......or get a manual rack......I have a Flaming River Quick Ratio Manual Rack and I love it.

You can also try having it flushed. I have corrected quite a few by doing this.

My original P/S pump was noisy. Then I replaced it, because it started leaking, and the new pump is just as loud--if not louder. I don't really worry about it anymore.

I would go to a ford dealer and get a BG power steering system flush It will help alot . make sure also all your lines are not blocked
