Default rubber on the road

I got a 94 Cobra with a stroker 342, 70 mm throttle body, 73 mm mass air, underdrive pully kit, mac headers, 2 1/2" off-road x-pipes, 538 lift cam,373rear-end, had the heads worked onI got my new bullit rims 18x9 and 18x10. what is the best tires to get for decent tracktion that will last at least 25 or 30 thousands miles? and what is the widest meat I can get on them without rubbing ?.now, what is a good way to help on the tracktion besides the tires? besides using shocks that help on transfering the weight to the *** end and I know the rear end twists a little. I just don't get how any other mods would help very much for the price. Is it worth the money & does it make that much difference with them???????? come on nos-man don't let me down, there's just to many[ slick]gear heads out there that know everything about our beloved mustangs's....slick

You could fit 315's on there with ease.

what brand tires would help me the most for hooking up without waring out in just in a couple of thousand miles? would 335 be ok for the rear with 18x10 rims ?do the upper and lower control arms help very much on hooking up that much better?.I know the parts are pretty high for them but is it worth the money for just a little better hook up or do they help for all over performance driving? this is the first car that i have ever built for the quarter and all over performance and not just for fast strait lines. did any one read the story in either super ford or mmff on having 2 stangs one with a blower and the other not blown one with the best tires that stick great and the other one with factory tires and what a diffreence it made the blower car ran the same time as the gt with the good tires on the gt. but when the good tires were put on the blown one and it ran [4 seconds] faster on the track with the good tires.he asked what is the no. one thing you can do to your car to make it run faster and handle better and after the testing was done it the tires for the number 1 thing to do with your stang. slick
