Im going to have to get a truck this winter and was thinking i might swap trannys after the snows gone. Anybody know if a 5 speed from an F-150 will fit my 91 mustang? not sure if they're t-5s or not.

+1 to Racquet. its pretty common in T-5's if you go straight to reverse it grinds. I usually just pop it in neutral pop it back into 1st and than into reverse. slides right in.

I just seems like reverse is getting worse. Anyways im not too concerned about that anymore. I can't get used to it grinding into second. Do rebuild kits come with synchroes?

Man my car has been doing this ever since I had the tremec put in it. I think mines either the clutch cable stretched or something is'nt lined up right in the tranny. I miss the good ole days when I could slam gears, now I have to slam just to get it in gear. Id say yours could be the syncs. Mine works better sometimes than it does other times also. I get ticked just talking about it.[:@]
