Default IDLE ****FIXED****

i have a 90 gt, it will start but not hold idle unless i hold the throttle. ive been told it may be the ignition module. what do you guys think?

Could be any number of things, but I'd start with the simple stuff. Try cleaning the IAC and TB. Also check for vacuum leaks and check fuel pressure.

sounds emissions related. check the pressure lines.

You can check your bolt that adjusts your idle, could be backed out... you can take an 8mm socket and give her a little tightening if it has backed off... but i would check for vacuum leaks first... Not gonna be you ignition module more than likely... they usually wanna lay down on ya after they warm up... good luck

i have that same problem, i have to warm it up for a few minutes then it idles fine. dont know what it is

mine was doing the same... what i did was reset the idle and then cleaned out the IAC
