i found a 90 LX 5.0 5-speed forsale locally. ponys, mac cold air, C&L 73mm mass air, flowmasters, h-pipe with welded gutted cats, hurst shifter w/ pro 5.0 handle, autometer water and oil guages, CD player, some new parts, comes with tie rods and clutch. claims it has "real high miles". the price is 1k Firm. seems like a good deal, and my 82 is running and looking like **** right now. the other thing to mention is someone claims the guy street races the car ALOT and the guy himself said "body has no rust but is ugly and int is gutted from front seats back"

Sounds like it was ragged pretty hard. But if it runs strong and does not smoke, it may be a good deal. Be sure and check the underside for stress and breakage, rust, etc. Also check for oil leaks and wiring problems. You dont want to buy a headache.

guess it depends on what u want it for. if u want a dd i dont know if id go for it, just because of how it was driven constantly, then interior and the exterior condition. but if its gonna be a track car then yea why not... either way 1000 is not a bad price

idk what to do, the guy now claims the spedo went out at 184k and he thinks it has around 284k on an UNOPENED engine. i need this thing to be a daily for a little before i part it. i guess i'll keep searching for somethign a little better.
