Easy EGR removal
Recently found this little $20 plug, that will bypass the EGR to EEC plug
and tells the computer that the EGR is closed, so you can remove it with no issues.
Just thought I would share

leave your egr on, I have one of those and all it did was cause it to drive like crap when driving slow.

And, when you look at the EEC program there is no reason why it wouldn't work.
I bet you have something else going on.
Do you get any diagnostic codes?
A few years ago these were available on ebay as well.
Be sure to secure it to the plug, mine fell off one day. I heard it bounce around under the car, then it was gone forever.

Either way you will want to plug the egr ports in the lower intake, to prevent excessive heat soak of the intake. If you don't have the egr functioning, then there is no reason to let the egr gasses heat up your intake.
I've used metal filler epoxy for this before.
