rear end question????

Default rear end question????
ok so i have my 91 mustang and i have an 84 in the garage...and i was tryin to check the size of rear end in the 84...
what does it mean when u rotate the wheel on the car one time and the drive shaft goes around 4 complete times???....what gears are in that rear end..

whoa..that would be real nice to have in mine..(whcih they are going in mine sometime soon)....my rear end is the stock 2:73's right now.....

'84 gears wont fit a 86+ mustang,

79-85 = 7.5in rear end
86-93 = 8.8in rear end
